Khabibulin Involved In Three-Way Trade?
According to the Ottowa Sun, The Blawkhawks are rumored to be in talks to trade Khabibulin in a three-way deal with the Senators and Kings.
Nikolai Khabibulin has a career 636 games played and has played a total of 36238:12 minutes of hockey since his professional debut in 1994. With 274 Wins, 259 Losses, and 59 Ties, Khabibulin’s save percentage sits at a respectable .908 with a GAA of 2.69. Khabibulin has played for teams like the Phoenix Coyotes, Tampa Bay Lightning and more recently, the Chicago Blackhawks.
The Senators, more recently losing goal tender Ray Emery could also use some depth in the net, while the Kings…aren’t really a hockey team any more after getting rid of Camalleri. They have been rumored to still be up to $13 million dollars below the salary cap minimum this late in the offseason.
Are the Kings even a hockey team anymore?
